Fellowship

One of our favorite weekly fellowship groups happens every Monday. Don and Marie lead us in singing and Bible study. The seats are packed, and the fellowship is excellent. Come join us any time, no invitation needed. Everyone is welcome.

Mardi Gras Celebration

Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation elders celebrated Mardi Gras by creating bead necklaces, parade floats, and masks. Thanks to the Quality of Life team for organizing the afternoon Mardi Gras parade and dance! The climax of the event was the party at the end of the song and dance.

Elder Vacation Fundraising

We’re planning to send some of our elders to Disney World on vacation! As a fundraiser, we are asking for half price of this regularly $2,997.00 floor mixer. It is almost new condition.

We are generously asking half of this price at $1,500, and all proceeds from the sale benefit our Elder Vacation fund to send our elders to a Disney World. It comes with stainless steel bowl, batter beater, wire whip, dough hook, wire bowl guards, and bowl scraper (all pictured above).

Our residents are already in the mood for Love. This week we began some crafts as we prepare for the upcoming Valentines Day celebration.

A Walk on the Wild Side

We took advantage of the beautiful weather last Friday and took a journey to the Louisville Zoo with our residents! It was definitely “A Walk on the Wild Side”!
